[February 21, 2006] Okay, why was Janet Jackson's momentary exposure at the Super Bowl a national scandal

while this one, by Russian ice dancer Oksana Domnina at the Olympics, was a non-issue?

Where are the lawsuits against Fox Television and the demand that they air the Olympics on a 5-second delay from now on? Where are the Congressional hearings and massive fines?

[February 17, 2006] In case there were any lingering doubts about whether the American media sets impossible standards for women,  an upcoming tv series called Ugly Betty is described as being "about an unattractive girl (America Ferrera) who's hired by a fashion magazine to stop her new boss's habit of sleeping with attractive assistants."
